San Diego Roundtable Event

San Diego Roundtable Event

San Diego has big ambitions to continue to make the city smarter and more sustainable. These include halving greenhouse gas emissions by 2035, getting traffic flowing better, improving public safety and using existing infrastructure much more efficiently.

To do this, San Diego is deploying the world’s largest city IoT sensor platform, transforming its street lighting into a connected digital infrastructure. The real-time sensor data delivered from across the city will be used to develop applications that tackle pressing challenges and improve the city for its citizens.

Experts from the City of San Diego will share their priorities and challenges around data, connectivity, energy and more, as well as the milestones along the journey so far. They’ll discuss insights for other cities around issues such as making the business case for the IoT sensor platform, the procurement process, lessons learned so far and more.

If you work for a city or regional authority in North America and are in Barcelona for Smart City Expo World Congress, then why not join us for this breakfast round table? This event takes place directly opposite the Expo and requires just an 90mins of your time before the Expo opens.
