AI-powered energy control system Entech’s Stealth2 (S2) platform generated more than $5m in savings for building owners in New York City in its inaugural year.
According to Entech, the platform’s initial rollout in 2025 transformed energy management across 401 buildings and 24,252 apartment units, delivering $5.09m in cost savings.
Local carbon emissions standards
As property owners face rising operational costs, coupled with stricter local carbon emissions standards, solutions that provide both financial and environmental savings are becoming critical to business survival, Entech reports.
Entech claims its S2 system has overcome these challenges by saving each building in 2025 more than $12,000 and roughly $200 per unit annually. The platform proved its energy efficiency even further by slashing more than 24 per cent of total carbon emissions, avoiding 16,338 metric tons of CO₂ in 2025.

Entech’s S2 system combines artificial intelligence, IoT hardware and smart thermostats to optimise, automate and monitor boiler systems in multi-unit buildings. The system learns a building’s heating patterns and automatically shifts boiler staging, cycling and temperature settings to reduce overall energy consumption.
Entech reckons it enables building developers to modernise their heating systems without the massive capital expense and disruptions of a full boiler replacement by integrating with any current boiler system in use today.

Entech’s system works with any existing boiler system to lower energy consumption and costs by 40 per cent. Its smart energy solutions are currently being used in more than 8,000 buildings, primarily in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.
