Spanish energy companies launch platform to tackle Covid-19 through innovation

Spanish energy companies are launching a platform to support start-ups in the development of projects to deal with the impact of COVID-19 through innovation.

 

Energy companies such as Acciona, BP, CLH, Enagás, Iberdrola and Red Eléctrica, along with European sustainability innovation institute IT InnoEnergy, have already joined the Positive Energy + platform.

 

Call for projects

 

Positive Energy + wants to attract start-ups and scale-ups that have innovative projects that can be launched immediately and developed and implemented in the maximum term of one year.

 

The energy projects supported must be related to environmental sustainability, mobility, social impact, digitisation, telecommunications and Industry 4.0, and must contribute to mitigating the economic and social effects of Covid-19 in Spain.

 

The energy projects supported must be related to environmental sustainability, mobility, social impact, digitisation, telecommunications and Industry 4.0.

 

Each one of the participating companies will support at least one start-up/scale-up by providing financing for the development of the project and/or by making their innovation, investment, commercial development and structure tools available to them.

 

The deadline for receipt of proposals is April 19.
