Covid-19: Thank you and an update

A message to SmartCitiesWorld’s readers from the company’s founder and CEO.

LinkedInTwitterFacebook

As the founder of SmartCitiesWorld, I would like to let our global community know what we are doing to support you during the coronavirus pandemic.

Before I do that, I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of my team and I to give huge thanks to all the amazing people in public service and industry who are on the frontline fighting the pandemic saving lives, keeping our transport systems working, protecting us and keeping the communications and energy networks going, or coordinating the efforts.

Please know that you are greatly appreciated and that we stand to do whatever we can to support you.

Our mission at SmartCitiesWorld is to provide a quality, comprehensive and current global content resource for urban leaders and their partners to collectively improve life in cities.

With this in mind, SmartCitiesWorld has created a Covid-19 content hub which features news, case studies, opinions and features on how cities and their partner ecosystems are using technology, innovative solutions and smart thinking to tackle the impacts of the virus. Updated daily, we will continue to develop the hub with more information to help you meet the challenges you face.

From today we are launching #SmartCitiesCV19. This Twitter and LinkedIn hashtag will provide a stream of useful information for cities and businesses in our sector tackling the virus and its impacts. Please support our global community by sharing ideas and approaches and let us know how your city or business is meeting the challenges.

You can also continue to share your news directly with our editorial team.

During this time of crisis, trusted sources of information such as SmartCitiesWorld are vital. Remote working, event cancellations and the lack of face-to-face meetings make global collaboration more of a challenge. At SmartCitiesWorld, we provide an effective way to engage, connect and learn from each other through our content and digital event programmes, enabling you to communicate your messages and connect with the wider marketplace.

SmartCitiesWorld will continue to be your global content resource to support you during the crisis and beyond. Get in touch and let us know what more we can do to support you or to tell us what you are doing to meet the current challenges and to make your city smarter and more resilient.

Most importantly, stay safe and well.
