Masabi and Kyyti have formed a partnership to provide best-of-breed mobility-as-a-service solutions to transport authorities, agencies and operators around the world.
Fare payments-as-a-service company Masabi and Helsinki-based mobility-as-a-service specialist (MaaS) Kyyti have formed a partnership to provide best-of-breed MaaS applications to transport authorities, agencies and operators around the world.
The first joint deployment will be live in the next few months, with further deployments set to go live during 2020/21.
The two companies will deliver first-last-mile journeys for users by combining Kyyti’s white label MaaS applications, which provide shared private mobility and demand responsive services, journey planning and payment, with in-app transit ticketing powered by Masabi’s Justride SDK, enabling customers to buy tickets anytime, anywhere in Kyyti’s apps.
Kyyti plans, designs and deploys customer branded turnkey solutions for municipalities, public transport authorities, transport operators and large employers. At the core of its technology is an advanced trip planner capable of creating trip chains connecting traditional fixed route transit to on-demand and shared modes for a door-to-door experience.

In addition to providing the trip planning and ticketing solution for the largest inter-city bus operator in Finland, Kyyti’s technology has been deployed in several European countries and US states.
Masabi’s Justride fare payments platform is used by more than 80 transport operators across 11 countries. It recently partnered with Uber and NEORide, a council of governments comprised of 15 transit systems, in the roll-out of the Uber Transit mobile ticketing across Ohio and Kentucky.
