The official partnership comes after a series of successful collaborations in the UK with the City of London, City of Glasgow, London Borough of Brent and City of Westminster.
Smart cities and utilities software firm TerraGo and Urban Control, a UK provider of integrated smart city solutions, have teamed up to offer technology, software and services to UK markets.
The companies claim the relationship will provide customers with an integrated toolset that’s operationally proven to accelerate projects, lower costs and increase energy savings and other benefits.
The official partnership comes after a series of successful collaborations, with the two companies working together in the City of London, City of Glasgow, London Borough of Brent, City of Westminster, and the county of Surrey.

TerraGo’s intelligent streetlight management software is being utilised in major smart cities and utilities projects and systems around the world, including in Chicago, Greater Toronto, London, Glasgow, Commonwealth Edison (ComEd) and Jamaica Public Service.

Designed specifically for smart streetlight projects, the platform has earned three Smart 50 awards for results and innovation, enabling customers to deploy and maintain networked lighting systems more efficiently, producing a clear, measurable return on investment.
TerraGo technology is also behind some of the industry’s most widely adopted geospatial field applications with its GeoPDF products. Today, it is developing field application software for smart cities, utilities and defence customers.
Urban Control will offer a private-labelled, customisable version of TerraGo’s mobile and web apps, offered as UrbanApp and UrbanConnect respectively.
