Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has joined Digital Dubai’s Government Resource Planning Systems (GRPS), which provides access to 40 smart systems and applications.
The city council has approved a contract with PayIt Digital Government and will jointly design a digital experience and platform to enable digital payments to be made to the city.
The more user-friendly app has been designed to ensure citizens receive relevant and timely information and among the most popular services are the news and payments section.
The city is showcasing its platform and e-government initiatives at CES 2020. These tools aim to provide citizens with the same real-time access to information as the mayor.
More than half of citizens in a multi-country survey said trust in government would increase if they better communicated how e-gov services could improve their lives.
