SmartCitiesWorld Summit is the flagship city-focused
event during London Climate Action Week

OSCAR (Open Source tools for Climate Adaptation & Resilience) is a non-profit software development organisation with a mission to help under-resourced governments protect their people, infrastructure, economies, and natural resources from climate and extreme-weather disasters, and ensure that their communities and ecosystems can thrive in the climate transition.
OSCAR is building an open-source platform of free, institutional-grade, easy-to-use, AI-enabled tools for climate adaptation, resilience, and transition-risk analysis, solution planning, implementation, and financing. Designed for local, regional, and national governments, as well as organisations that support them, the platform helps users understand climate risks, evaluate impacts, identify effective adaptation measures, develop implementation plans, and mobilise funding.
By bridging climate science, risk analytics, planning, and finance, OSCAR seeks to democratise access to world-class adaptation and resilience capabilities and help governments make better-informed decisions in an increasingly uncertain climate future.
