With cities releasing, updating and expanding climate action plans so frequently, it is essential that the goals they’re setting are realistic, achievable, and consider what are now critical parallels to equity, inclusivity and future resilience.

 

The Summit will delve into the importance of being data driven in creating climate action plans, with city government and other local authority representatives – such as transport and energy – explaining how they work together on developing climate policy, and how they’ve broken down siloes to employ systems thinking

 

In 2024, each and every session within the Summit programme will look at policy development as part of the discussion.  We will be covering these talking points in a number of areas:
