SmartCitiesWorld Drinks Reception - 4 November 2025
The countdown to Smart City Expo World Congress has begun. It is expected that over 25,000 visitors will attend either in person or online, and with over 700 exhibitors and 400 speakers it will certainly be a melting pot for discussion on all things smart city related.
SmartCitiesWorld will once again be in attendance for the ninth year running, alongside being a media partner, we’ll be hosting the ever popular and over-subscribed drinks receptions on Tuesday 4 November 2025 between 5pm-7.30pm.
This event is a chance for SmartCitiesWorld members and expo delegates to get together with like-minded people in a relaxed environment and discuss the topics of the day.
The event is an exclusive invite-only/curated gathering specifically for guests working in city/government authorities and spaces are limited. This means that your registration could be reviewed by our event curator. In these instances we will confirm your place once you apply.

Drinks Reception
The Drinks Reception will be taking place on the Terrace of the Fira Congress Hotel opposite the expo centre just as the doors close on the first day of the event (5pm).
It will be a chance to meet the Editorial team behind SmartCitiesWorld along with members of our Advisory Board and our partners Dell Technologies and Intel. Invited guests will have a chance to network over drinks and canapés.
