The Brief
Itron wanted to meet experts and peers from various fields within cities, including urban planning, sustainability, and infrastructure management, to discuss how cities can enhance their resilience against the multifaceted impacts of climate change.
The Solution
SmartCitiesWorld Connect created an exclusive roundtable event alongside Smart Cities Expo Barcelona. This closed session with 15 city authorities explored practical strategies, innovative technologies, and the collaborative efforts that can help cities in times of unprecedented stress on critical urban infrastructure.
SmartCitiesWorld also hosted a White Paper produced by Itron which looked to help cities achieve its carbon reduction goals quickly, with measurable impact and long-term financial returns. This was promoted to the wider SmartCitiesWorld membership created leads for Itron.
