Aegea, one of Brazil’s largest private sanitation companies providing services to some 500 municipalities, is deploying a smart water platform.
ST Engineering’s Urban Solutions’ platform will digitally integrate water meter infrastructure across Aegea’s concessions to improve water management operational efficiency, enable data-driven water optimisation and reduce non-revenue water.
Built on a cloud-based meter data management system that securely collects, stores and manages data, the water meter-agnostic smart water platform will enable automated, end-to-end monitoring and control of Aegea’s entire water metering infrastructure. The platform will deliver real-time alerts, water consumption trend analysis and water optimisation insights to help Aegea unlock new efficiencies in water management.
