OASC Conference 2026

About the OASC Conference 2026
The OASC Conference 2026 is the flagship annual event of the Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC) network — a growing community of over 150 cities and regions across more than 30 countries, committed to building more open, interoperable, and human-centric digital solutions for urban development.
The OASC Conference has become the key meeting point for public administrators, policymakers, technologists, researchers, and innovators who are driving this transformation. Over the years, the conference has travelled across Europe — from Brussels to Rotterdam and Tampere in 2025 — each edition deepening the conversation and strengthening partnerships around shared digital building blocks.
A unique focus for 2026: Funding as a driver of transformation
The 2026 edition of the OASC Conference will take place in Fundão, Portugal and will explore how funded projects — from European programmes such as Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, and Interregional Innovation Investments, to national and regional initiatives — are shaping the future of digital public services and infrastructure.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn from successful and ongoing projects driving digital transformation across cities and regions.
- Share practical insights on project design, implementation, and sustainability.
- Discover how to align local strategies with national and European policy goals.
- Connect with peers and potential partners for future collaboration.
You’re invited to be part of this journey in 2026 — to share your experience, shape the conversation, and help define the future of open and agile digital transformation in Europe and beyond!
