The Saudi Arabian greenfield development is partnering on an eight-week programme to help young students in the Neom and Tabuk region reach their full potential.
The corporate social responsibility (CSR) department of Neom, the smart region being built from the ground-up in northwest Saudi Arabia, has announced a specialist training programme to help empower a new generation of students.
Organised in partnership with Project Knowledge Exchange for Youth Supporting Society (Keyss) the initiative has been established to enable students in the Neom and Tabuk region to reach their full potential. The Ministry of Education, the National Programme for Community Development (Tanmiah) and non-governmental organisations are also cooperating partners.
Targeting 600 male and female students, including high school students from the Neom and Tabuk area as well as freshman students from the University of Tabuk, the eight-week programme aims to assist young people to pursue their college education with confidence and prepare them for impactful careers post-graduation.
With the support of 50 teachers and advisors, the students in the programme will be guided to the most relevant and sought-after majors that align with the future job market and encouraged to explore their personal strengths through interactive meetings that foster self-learning.
As part of the initiative, a guidebook on tactical decision-making on the professional, academic, and personal levels will be distributed to participants.

Neom is a desert region in northwest Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea being built from the ground up as a living laboratory. It will include The Line smart city and Oxagon, a reimagined industrial area, as well as Trojena, a sustainable mountain tourism destination. Last year, Oxagon worked with the Ministry of Education to run a hackathon to foster a collaborative and inclusive innovation ecosystem across the Kingdom’s burgeoning start-up community.
